Time and Space

From the time of cavemen with their cave drawings mankind has sought expression through pictures/paintings. As we have developed to modern man, art has gone through a growth and expansion of materials. We use the tools we have to help us express feelings, portraits, moments in time, and surrealistic visions. Those that came before, from caveman to Renaissance to impressionist to modern artist help lay the groundwork for my efforts. Someday my artwork will be added to the lexicon of artwork that help to advance the foundation for future artist. Time and Space is a painting that I created to declare my appreciation of those that came before. Scientist and their understanding of the world around them and their use of mathematics, science, and reason have contributed to mankind’s development. Art and it’s use for expression of the artist world, in the same way helps man use the past to create a new style, develop and use varied materials in the artistic creative process.
