Pura Picasso is carved from marble stone called Picasso Marble. The sculpture came from an idea on how the transformation of a woman is a pure gift. They give us life to mankind. On the back is a symbol of a young woman pressing against a second figure. That second figure represents a middle-aged woman that's coming to be. There are two figures of woman at mid-chest that represent a woman's breast. For the belly I sculpted an end upside down egg bursting through a rough outer shell. Women give pure life. Pura Picasso Is a surrealist expression of the transformation of a woman as a manifestation of life.
